Assistant Professor in Applied Organizational Communication

The Communication Studies department at UNLV invites applications for a permanent, full-time, Assistant Professor in Applied Organizational Communication [R0112658]. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load in community engaged courses, ideally related to health communication, environmental and sustainability communication, new media/network communication, or an area of equal importance to urban affairs. We seek a qualitative or mixed methods scholar with an active research agenda who engages community partnerships and practices, seeking to address urban problems. Courses to be taught at the graduate and undergraduate level will be in organizational communication and areas of specialization in communication studies. There are also opportunities to develop graduate courses linked to professional communication and service learning.
