Assistant Professor (Modern World, Global, or Transnational)

The Department of History in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo is seeking an exceptional scholar and researcher for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the areas of Modern World, Global, or Transnational History. The successful candidate will provide undergraduate and graduate courses in their own area, as well as in Modern European History. The position will commence July 1, 2019.
The successful candidate must have a completed PhD and should provide evidence of research potential and achievement commensurate with their experience and a strong teaching record in relevant areas. Duties include research, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including supervising graduate students, and service.
The salary range for this position at the Assistant Professor rank is $80,000 to $100,000.
