The Department of History at Duke University invites applications for an assistant professor, tenure track position requiring teaching and research in the history of science and/or technology, or a related field. History of Race and Ethnicity in the US in the Long Twentieth Century. The Department of History at Duke University seeks a historian of the United States in the long twentieth century (1877-present) who will teach and research on topics related to race and ethnicity. The position is full-time, tenure track at the assistant professor level. We are particularly interested in scholars who bring intersectional analyses to ideas about diaspora, migration, environment, sexuality, Black and/or Latino Power, decolonization, or the production of knowledge.
