The Department of Japanese Studies, National University of Singapore, invites applications for a position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in contemporary Japanese society (focus on gender studies preferred) beginning January 2019.
Applicants should have a relevant Ph.D. in sociology, anthropology, cultural or area studies, with a focus on Japan. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; team-taught and interdisciplinary courses and research supervision. Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
