The Department of Political Science and the International Studies Program at Trinity College invite applications for a joint, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Comparative Politics of the Global South commencing with the 2019-2020 academic year. We especially welcome applications from candidates whose research intersects the subjects of comparative urban politics, ethnic politics, and/or contentious politics. The successful applicant will be expected to design courses that contribute to both Political Science and International Studies. The candidate should demonstrate the potential for becoming an outstanding scholar and teacher. The Ph.D. should be in hand or expected by the end of August, 2019.
