The School of English, Film, Theatre, and Media Studies at Victoria University of Wellington invites applications for the permanent (tenured) position of a half-time (0.5 FTE) Lecturer in Theatre, specialising in Scenography, to begin during or before January 2019. The appointee will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and popular programme in Theatre and to other academic and creative communities in Wellington, Aotearoa/New Zealand.
The Theatre Programme is seeking an energetic and collegial appointee with teaching experience in Scenography. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Theatre, a record of scholarly productivity, and the capacity to teach a mainstream Theatre course at second-year level and beyond (including an Honours) and also to supervise research at Masters MFA and PhD levels.
