The Department of History, Anthropology, and Philosophy at Augusta University seeks a full-time, limited term instructor faculty position in US history to begin August 6, 2018. All periods and specializations are welcome, but preference will be given to candidates specializing in African-American history or digital history. Minimum qualifications are a MA in History; PhD in History or related field preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. The incumbent will teach both halves of the US History survey course, and a course in his or her specialty.
Responsibilities/Duties
Teaching US History courses as assigned; holding office hours, providing timely grading and student feedback; and adhering to all academic policies of the University.
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
