The Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures (REALC) at Emory University invites applications for a temporary position in Japanese language for the academic year 2018-19. Applicants should have a minimum of an MA in Japanese linguistics, cultural studies, pedagogy, or a closely related area and possess native or near-native proficiency in Japanese and in English. A record of successful teaching at the college level and familiarity with technology in teaching is required. The candidate should be prepared to teach all levels of courses in Japanese language.
