Korean Language Lecturer

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Korean language to begin fall 2018. The initial term of the appointment will be for one academic year. Responsibilities include teaching or co-teaching all levels of modern Korean language to heritage and non-heritage learners, developing multi-media teaching materials and student engagement programs.
Candidates should have a minimum of an M.A. in Korean linguistics, language pedagogy, second-language acquisition, or a related field with native or near-native proficiency in Korean and English. Experience in teaching Korean at all levels at a U.S university is required.
