The Department of Religious Studies at Hamilton College seeks applications for a one-year visiting position in south Asian religions. Candidate should have the capacity to teach courses in Islam, Hinduism and / or Buddhism in the south Asian context and engage with the interpretive perspectives of the field of Religious Studies. Scholars whose work South India, the Indian Ocean, and Islam are especially encouraged to apply. The teaching load is 5 courses per year.
