The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to lead its curatorial division. The Vice President oversees the museum’s core functions including: curatorial activities (strategic collections development, research, and publications), collections management and care, exhibition development (research, planning, evaluation and project management) as well as Native American cultural affairs and university relations. Six professionals report directly to the VP, who serves as a member of the senior management group and frequently interacts with board members, committees and donors. Qualified candidates will have an MA or higher degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years related experience with supervisory responsibilities, and demonstrated commitment to public engagement. Excellent financial and administrative management abilities, along with communications, interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary.
