The University of Texas at Dallas is hiring for a full‐time non‐tenure‐track American Studies teaching
position at the rank of Senior Lecturer I for the fall of 2018. The position involves teaching 4 American
Studies courses per semester. These include our introductory American Studies course, advanced
writing/research methods, and upper‐level courses in the candidate's areas of expertise. Ph.D. in
American Studies or a related field and at least two years of relevant teaching experience are required.
We are seeking a dynamic, engaging teacher who is committed to interdisciplinary approaches to
American cultures, creative pedagogy, and to building our small program. Field of research specialization

Salary is negotiable and includes a full benefits package. Starting date is August 1, 2018.
