The School of History, Philosophy, Religion at Oregon State University invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month, fixed-term Visiting Assistant Professor position in twentieth-century Chicanx/Latinx history. The anticipated length of this appointment is September 16, 2018-June 15, 2019. Reappointment is at the discretion of the school Director.
Preferred specialization is Chicanx/Latinx labor history or immigration history, as well as a regional focus on the Pacific Northwest or the North American West. Candidate will teach pre-existing Ecampus courses in United States History and History of the US West, and will develop new courses in their specialization for online delivery. Opportunities for on campus teaching also possible.
