The Wagner College Department of History seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the History of Africa, the Middle East or South Asia and the history of Islam to begin Fall 2018. Teaching requirements include introductory Global History survey course, as well as upper-level courses on Africa, the Middle East or South Asia and Islam. Candidates are expected to teach in Wagner College’s acclaimed First-Year Program and are strongly encouraged to participate in civic engagement projects, interdisciplinary teaching and contribute to co-curricular programming for History Majors and the History Club.
