Teaching responsibilities will include the Modern European History survey course as well as upper-division courses on 19th Century Europe, 20th Century Europe, and France since 1815.
Applicants who can also teach Research and Writing, as well as Senior Seminar, are particularly desired. The ability to introduce a new course on The French Revolution and Napoleonic Europe and Atlantic history are also desired.
The standard teaching load is 3/3.
Applicants must have a PhD or provide assurance that it will be completed by August 2018.

- Teaching and research experience
- Respect for liberal arts education within the Catholic intellectual tradition
- Interest in inquiry-based teaching
