The Program in Judaic Studies at Princeton University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Judaic Studies. The selected candidate’s primary responsibility is to pursue research on any aspect of Judaic Studies while in residence at Princeton for the 2018-2019 year. The successful candidate may be asked to teach or co-teach no more than two courses per year, subject to sufficient enrollments and with the approval of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. The focus of any teaching should be on an area complimentary to courses offered by present faculty, and when teaching, the successful candidate will carry a secondary title of Lecturer. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be integrated fully into the Program in Judaic Studies as well as into any and all appropriate departments, programs and centers at Princeton University.
Appointment will be for one year with the possibility of renewal for an additional year based on satisfactory performance and approval from the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. Recent Ph.D.s in the humanities are invited to apply.
