Tenure Track Position in Latin American History

The Department of History at The University of Scranton invites applications tenure track position in Latin American History, beginning fall 2018.  A Ph.D. in History and teaching experience are required qualifications. Primary responsibilities include teaching both halves of a Latin American survey, as well as upper division courses in the successful candidate’s area of expertise.  A willingness and preparation to teach the University’s First Year Seminars with a focus on Latin America and/or the ability to teach our Digital History and Craft of the Historian courses is highly desirable.  The University of Scranton is, by tradition and choice, a Catholic and Jesuit university.
