Early American History to 1865. The Department of History at the University of Illinois at Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin August 16, 2018, in the area of colonial American and early United States history, with a special interest in applicants working in the history of the Atlantic world, labor history, and/or women’s and gender history. Ph.D. required by start date. Final authorization of this position is subject to the availability of funding.
