Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont Colleges, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Political Studies with an emphasis in Comparative Politics. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research and teaching focus on East Asia or Southeast Asia, South Asia, or the Middle East, but we are open to outstanding candidates who study any region. Attractive teaching and research interests include public policy. The position is set to begin the Fall Semester of 2018. Normally a Ph.D. expected by commencement of the fall semester.
