The History Department at Gonzaga University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning in fall of 2018. We seek a teacher-scholar of Modern Western European History (Enlightenment to present) with experience teaching History of Western Civilization II or World Civilization II. Qualifications: Ph.D. in History, with specialty in Modern Western Europe, ABD considered, with the expectation the candidate will have degree in hand by August 1, 2018; evidence of teaching effectiveness at the college level; and evidence of active research program.
