The History Department at Oberlin College invites applications for a full-time non-continuing faculty position at the rank of visiting assistant professor in Latina/o History in the United States, beginning July 1, 2017. The incumbent will teach a total of five courses in the area of U.S. Latina/o History, including a one-semester survey. Qualifications: Ph.D. in hand or expected by August 2017. Successful college-level teaching experience, as well as experience working with, teaching, or mentoring diverse groups, is desirable.
