9-month Visiting Assistant Professor - Teaching Position 2017-18 – South Asian Religions
FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY, Department of Religion invites applications for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor position for the period 08/07/17 to 05/04/18 in the area of South Asian Religions. Specialization is open, but preference is for competency in Hindu and/or Buddhist traditions in India with an excellent command of Sanskrit and/or other relevant languages. Ph.D. in hand or expected by August 2017. Teaching experience preferred. The 3/3 teaching load will include undergraduate and graduate courses in Hinduism, Buddhism, and South Asian Religions and an introductory course in World Religions.
