Responsibilities: Visiting assistant professor of early modern European history, Mediterranean focus.Teaching load is 3 courses per semester, to include lower-division surveys of European history from the fourth to seventeenth centuries and upper-division courses in areas of interest. Teaching expertise in the Renaissance or Islam is welcome.
Qualifications: Ph.D. (ABD considered) in European history with an early modern and Mediterranean focus and a commitment to liberal arts education.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
