~~The Department of Comparative Literature intends to make a tenure track appointment beginning July 1, 2017. We look for broad-ranging comparatists who work and teach in more than one literary tradition, in any genre (poetry, drama, narrative) and period from antiquity up until 1900. Some welcome fields: non-European literatures; French literature; 18th-19th century European literature; literary theory. Ph.D. or equivalent degree by July 1, 2017 preferred.
