The Department of History at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in African history, with a start date of August 2017. All time periods and all regions, except Nigeria. Applicants should demonstrate a strong research plan beyond the dissertation as well as a commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students.
