Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in British history in the Department of History and Philosophy which begins August 10, 2017. The subject and period of specialization are open, but the successful candidate will be expected to teach the two-semester survey of British history, the introductory world history course, as well as upper-level courses that meet the needs of the department. A commitment to excellence in teaching, an active and innovative research agenda and service to the institution are expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. An earned doctorate in history or the foreign equivalent, or its equivalent in training, ability, and/or experience is required.
