Western European Medieval History. Position No. 00053365. The Clements Department of History in Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences at Southern Methodist University seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to hold the Jeremy duQuesnay Adams Centennial Professorship in Western European Medieval History, beginning fall 2017. The successful candidate will join a department characterized by excellent teaching and first-rate scholarship, with a longstanding commitment to the study of the Middle Ages. Ph.D. required by August 15, 2017; teaching experience desirable; salary competitive. Employment eligibility verification required upon appointment.
