The College of William and Mary invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position in early American history at the advanced assistant to the full professor rank. The area of specialization is open. A PhD in History or a closely related field at the time of application, a record of significant publications, and demonstrated excellence in teaching are requirements. The successful candidate will teach both graduate and undergraduate courses, and will direct graduate students. The position commences August 10, 2017.
