The Departments of East Asian Studies and History at Princeton University invite applications for an open-rank (senior or junior) position in Pre-Modern Chinese History (Tang through Qing). The appointment will be made in both East Asian Studies and History Departments. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research. Ph.D. must be in hand or expected by September 1, 2017. The review of applications will begin on October 15, 2016.
