The Department of History at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in cultural anthropology with an emphasis on political, medical, and/or environmental anthropology.
Our department is multidisciplinary with undergraduate majors in Global Studies, Social and Political History, and Ethics, History and Public Policy, as well as an undergraduate minor in Anthropology and a doctoral program in History. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate programs in their areas of expertise (2/2 teaching load).
