Modern World, 1500-present. The Department of History at the University of New Hampshire is searching for a tenure-track assistant professor in Modern World History. We are looking for a colleague with strong scholarly credentials who is enthusiastic about bridging some of the disciplinary divides between Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas in classroom teaching. Candidates should be able to teach introductory and upper-division courses in an aspect of World History, connecting their own area of specialization with larger Global issues.
The person hired will be expected to show promise of scholarly excellence, as well as a commitment to teaching at every level, from introductory surveys to advanced undergraduate and graduate courses.
