The Department of History and the Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality (IRWGS) at Columbia University jointly seek to hire a distinguished scholar at the rank of tenured associate professor in the History of Women, Gender and Sexuality in Twentieth Century United States. The committee is open to all applications but is particularly interested in scholarship that focuses on the U.S. and the World or on transnational approaches to twentieth century U.S. history.
