The Department of History and Geography at Lindenwood University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in early modern European history for the 2016-2017 academic year. Geographic and thematic areas of focus are open. We invite applications from active scholars committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will have a PhD in hand and will teach a 4/4 course load.
Applications should include a cover letter, CV, transcripts, and the names of three references as well as sample syllabi for three courses: 1) a survey of early modern Europe, 2) a general education world history from 1500 course, and 3) an upper-division elective course in European history.
