Position Summary:
Gettysburg College invites applications for one-year of adjunct teaching in Chinese http://www.gettysburg.edu/academics/as/index.dot beginning August 2016.
Qualifications:
We seek an adjunct with teaching experience at least as a Teaching Assistant and possessing native or near-native fluency in Chinese capable of teaching all levels of undergraduate students. The teaching load is four courses, team-taught at the first and second year levels, spread across the academic year, and coordination of Chinese events and language tables. It is possible that this offer may be extended for a second year. Proficiency in English as well as Chinese, master’s degree in Chinese language and/or language acquisition, and previous language teaching experience are required.
