The Lyon G. Tyler Department of History at The College of William and Mary invites applications for a one year , non-tenure-track visiting faculty position that will begin August 10, 2016. We seek an individual with expertise in 19th and/or 20th century US History. Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. by the time they apply. The successful applicant will teach a 3/3 course load, including upper-level lecture courses and seminars. Candidates should have significant teaching experience.
