Visiting Assistant Professor of History
The Department of History at Willamette University seeks a transnational historian with an area of focus in Latin America, the Middle East/North Africa, or Pacific Rim/Pacific Indigenous Studies for a one year, non-tenure track visiting appointment beginning in the fall of 2016.

Qualifications: Candidates holding a Ph.D. or ABD in History will be considered. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Scholars whose work utilizes public history, new media, and digital humanities are encouraged to apply. The teaching load is three courses per semester with two at the lower-division level and one at the upper division.
Salary with Ph.D. is $42,874; without a Ph.D. $38, 587. Both include medical and dental benefits.
