Faculty of Humanities
The Faculty seeks applications for two full-time academic positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. The appointees will be responsible for teaching duties, contributing to programme development, engaging in departmental and Faculty services, and pursuing an active research and publication agenda, including the applications for research funding from external sources.
Applicants should have a Doctoral Degree in the discipline of Classical Chinese Literature or Language and a successful record of teaching and research publications in the areas of classical poetry/prose/drama, and/or Chinese philology in tertiary institution(s). They should also have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits, and where applicable, housing benefits.
