~~Black Hills State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in European History with a secondary field in Latin American, African, or Asian history, time period and region open (excluding the Anglo-Atlantic world). A Ph.D. in History by August 2016 is required. The Department is particularly interested in scholars who situate European history in a colonial-Atlantic-world or late-nineteenth/twentieth-century-global context. Ability and willingness to develop and teach a broad range of history courses in face-to-face and online formats is essential. Teaching load is 12 credits per semester. Other responsibilities include advising students, scholarly activities, and professional service. This is a full-time, nine-month position beginning August 2016.
