The Department of History at The University of Scranton invites applications for a one year (renewable for a second year), non-tenure track, leave replacement in Latin American History, beginning fall 2016. Primary responsibilities include teaching both halves of a Latin American survey, as well as upper division courses in the successful candidate’s area of expertise. A willingness and preparation to teach the University’s First Year Seminars with a focus on Latin America and/or the ability to teach American or World History survey courses is highly desirable.
