Position Overview: The Department of History at Merrimack College seeks to hire a tenure track Assistant Professor of Modern U.S. History (1865 to the Present) to commence in the Fall of 2016.
The successful candidate will teach survey and upper-division undergraduate courses in American history, and the department is interested in candidates with at least some training in or experience with public history. The normal course load is three four-credit courses (two different course preparations) per semester.
Requirements: A Ph.D. in History required by time of appointment.
