Minnesota State University, Mankato invites applications for a probationary, tenure-track, Assistant professor in Latin American history beginning August 15, 2016. Responsibilities include teaching World and American survey courses, upper-division courses in Latin American and World history, developing new courses, contributing to program development, engaging in relevant scholarly activities, advising students, and serving on professional committees.
Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in History by August 15, 2016. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to conduct research and teach courses in Colonial Latin American History and an ability to teach survey-level courses in World and American History.
