The School of History and Sociology (HSOC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The appointment will begin August 15, 2016; PhD or equivalent will be necessary prior to appointment. HSOC is an interdisciplinary unit composed of sociologists and historians. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching and will be expected to teach the African American History survey.
