The Department of History and Philosophy at Kennesaw State University invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track, assistant professor position in the History of Nineteenth-Century Europe. Field is open, but the ideal candidate will be expected to teach the world history survey and upper-level courses in their area of expertise that will complement the strengths of the department. A commitment to excellence in teaching, complemented by strong scholarship and service is expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
A Ph.D. in History or the foreign equivalent is required as well as a record of effective university teaching and demonstrated potential for research.
