The Department of History of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University invites applications for a one year full-time term position in Modern British history to begin in August 2016. PhD and teaching experience preferred.
Teaching assignments will include introductory courses in European history, an upper-division course in modern British history, and the first-year seminar of the common curriculum.
Saint John's University, a liberal arts college for men, and the College of Saint Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, are located four miles apart in Central Minnesota just outside St. Cloud and 70 miles from Minneapolis. Both are Catholic colleges in the Benedictine tradition, which emphasize quality teaching and a commitment to intercultural learning.
