The History Department of Rutgers University-Camden seeks a full-time tenure-track faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor specializing in nineteenth or twentieth century Europe, excluding Russia/Soviet Union. Applicants must have the Ph.D. in hand at the time of appointment. The successful applicant will teach a 2/2 load, contribute to the global history track in our M.A. program, and be held to standards for tenure and promotion that are uniform on all three Rutgers campuses. Candidates with skills in digital humanities are encouraged to apply. Faculty appointment will begin in September 2016. Rutgers University-Camden is part of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and enjoys full access to an AAU and Research 1 library. Rutgers University-Camden is located ten minutes from Center City Philadelphia and offers easy access to additional rich scholarly and cultural resources.
