Modern Britain, 1800-Present. Position No. 00050093. The Clements Department of History at Southern Methodist University seeks a tenure-track assistant professor specializing in modern Britain since 1800, including Imperial or Commonwealth history to begin Fall 2016. Ph.D. required by August 15, 2016; teaching experience desirable; salary competitive. All applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in scholarship and teaching (at both the undergraduate and graduate levels).
