Applications are invited from anthropologists for a Lecturer in the Cultural Anthropology Programme within the School of Social and Cultural Studies, Victoria University of Wellington. This is a permanent position and commences in mid-January 2016. The successful applicant for the lecturer position will have a PhD in anthropology, experience of teaching at a tertiary level and a developing research profile, which includes evidence of scholarly publications. The successful applicant in will be expected to develop new areas of teaching in the anthropology of development, Oceania and applied anthropology, as well as contributing to the core courses in anthropology. Supervision of postgraduate research will also be expected.
