General education is an essential component of the SCAD undergraduate experience, developing students as critical thinkers by providing an intellectual foundation and breadth of knowledge for lifelong learning. SCAD Savannah seeks candidates to contribute to this objective as a full-time professor teaching psychology under the university's general education core curriculum.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in psychology
- Demonstrated teaching excellence and exemplary communication skills
- Five or more years of college-level teaching experience in psychology
- Experience engaging with a diverse student body
- Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses to art and design majors
- Experience in creative and collaborative enterprises preferred
- Knowledge in research methods and design preferred
