The History Department at Binghamton University, SUNY, invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting assistant professor position in U.S. history since 1877, to begin Fall 2015. Area of specialization is open but candidate must be able to teach a survey-level course on immigration and ethnicity, in addition to the second half of the U.S. History survey. The successful candidate will also teach upper-level courses including a senior seminar in their areas of specialization. A graduate seminar may also be required. The teaching load will be 3/2.
