The Lyon G. Tyler Department of History at The College of William & Mary invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in the field of East Asian History, with preference for a historian of Korea to begin August 2015. Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. The successful applicant will teach a 3/3 course load, including sections of East Asian Civilization (to 1600 and since 1600).
